Your EIN paperwork (this is required to register your business number).

The area code you’d like your number to be in.

Your business name and address (for registration purposes).

Why Is Registration Needed?

The type of phone number that is being created is called an A2P number. A2P means Application to person.

This type of number is how we can automate messages like billing reminders, and job reminders, so that you don't have to send them out directly, or via your personal phone number.

In August of 2024, to combat the amount of spam texts that are being sent out by nefarious spammers, the government instituted a requirement that if a business is using an A2P phone number ,that number must be registered with the company via the Federal gov't.

Otherwise, you can not use the number. This is to combat the spam texts, and allows the gov't to get rid of spammers.

This also includes a fee to submit the application (because gov't). The fee we charge here takes care of the gov't fee and the back and. forth of submitting your application.

After approved, then you will pay per usage for the calls and texts you send out. Most clients average under $10-20 a month in cost.

Once setup, the phone will work through an app on your phone so you'll be able to send texts and calls via your personal number while keeping your number private.
